Mina joined Fayad & Associates in 2007. Mina’s immigration practice includes family-based and employment-based immigration law matters, as well as asylum, TPS, NACARA, and other deportation defense related matters. Mina is strongly committed to the cause of human rights and has worked with prominent law firms and organizations dedicated to the advancement and protection of human rights throughout the world. Mina was interviewed as an expert on the refugee crisis in Iraq by BBC World Television, CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, and CBS’s 60 Minutes.
Mina is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds an Honors Degree in World Religions, History and International Relations. He is a 2003 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law and has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of Maryland since 2004. Mina has been a practicing immigration attorney in the Virginia and Washington D.C. area since 2004. Mina is a Nigerian-born Coptic Egyptian. Mina is a citizen of Canada.
