Ms. Hudaidah Bhimdi is an Immigration Attorney with a sincere passion for excellence in immigration law. Her passion for excellence in immigration law derives from her own family's first-hand immigration experiences.
Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Ms. Bhimdi and the Bhimdi Family arrived in the United States and finally became US Citizens. Raised in a traditional Pakistani-American first generation immigration family, Ms. Bhimdi's father's unwavering devotion in raising his children and the experiences and sacrifices he made so that each of his children can achieve the American Dream has made Ms. Bhimdi a more honest, hardworking, and compassionate immigration attorney. Each case Ms. Bhimdi works on, she sees her own family's immigration experiences, hopes, and dreams. Being an immigrant herself, Ms. Bhimdi sincerely understands each client's immigration goals and works effectively to help each client achieve the American Dream.
After receiving her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Studies, Ms. Bhimdi went on for her Master’s in Public Administration. While studying for her Master’s degree and prior to going to Law School, Ms. Bhimdi worked for the Virginia House of Delegates. Ms. Bhimdi was convinced that she wanted to go to law school especially after serving as a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem with the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Richmond, Virginia. Consequently her interests, background and enthusiasm guided Ms. Bhimdi to law school. After her first year of Law School, Ms. Bhimdi interned for the Honorable Judge Pedro Echarte, Jr. at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. After her second year of law school, Ms. Bhimdi interned for the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, Office of Civil Rights in Arlington, Virginia. During her second year in law school, Ms. Bhimdi’s eagerness to serve and be a leader got her elected as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association.
Currently, Ms. Bhimdi practices exclusively in the areas of immigration and nationality law with an emphasis in status violations, family and employment based immigration. She has a strong interest in international law and business. As a law student at University of Richmond, she participated in an International Business Law Seminar. During the seminar, she performed legal research for a client interested in doing business in the international arena. The seminar provided her with the ability to incorporate immigration matters within the corporate world.
Presently Ms. Bhimdi serves as the Secretary on two Boards, the Asian American Society of Central Virginia (AASoCV) and the Pakistani American Society of Central Virginia (PASCVA). Ms. Bhimdi is a member of the Virginia Bar, Fourth Circuit Bar, American Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyer Association. |
